Libor Zavalsky

Owner, Manager, and Trainer

Libor’s background is in finance, but when it comes to counting training minutes with dogs, his passion causes him lose track. Business entrepreneur and canine enthusiast, Libor is originally from Czech Republic, but he has made the U.S. his home for over the last twenty years. While running his personal businesses, he fell in love with the art of training German Shepherds; so much so, that he truly believes in K-9 Specialists’ philosophy that he could not resist but to purchase the company. Now as Owner, Libor has used his savvy business experience to expand and fortify the company. By implementing new strategies and bringing alongside world class trainers, Libor is proud to provide the Best Family Friendly Protection Dogs.

Rachael Zavalsky

Owner & Dog Trainer

Born and raised in Colorado, Rachael grew up having many pets including dogs, cats, fish, and an Iguana. She did not get into dog training seriously until her and her husband Libor got their Doberman Diesel, which then Rachael learned the elements of basic dog training. With her business background, she helps with the behind-the-scenes tasks of K-9Specialists. Rachael is usually busy raising their daughter, and she is passionate for fitness and health as a personal trainer.

Petr Solc

Master Dog Trainer & Breeder

Petr has lived and breathed the study of cynology (the study of canines) since he was a young man. Born and raised in Czech. Republic, he was a city police dog handler for 11 years, and after he continued his training experience with canines in the military and sport dogs and has been the Master Trainer since 2003. He regularly participates in working dog competitions and has won National Championships multiple times. Petr has trained dogs holding over 90 Titles of IPO I, II, & III. Along with training, Petr also has extensive experience with breeding. He specializes in Boxer, German Shepherd, and Doberman husbandry; He has personally raised over 70 canine liters. Petr’s reputation has brought him around the world; he has had the opportunity to share his knowledge of canines; some countries including Poland, Germany, Malaysia, Philippines, Australia, and the USA. From a family dog to a special military forces dog, Petr is the all-around Master Trainer. Although he has had countless impressive accomplishments, he claims that his biggest success are his two children who he has also passed on the passion and knowledge of cynology. Both his son Petr Jr. and his daughter Michelle have become successful dog trainers at a young age. A family man with a passion for dogs, Petr is devoted to teaching relationship possibilities between a man and a man’s best friend.

Petr Solc Jr.

Master Dog Trainer

Born and raised in Czech Republic, Petr has followed in his father’s footsteps of top dog training. He is an annual competitor and has finished 2nd Place in Youth National Championship in Czech Republic. He is currently pursuing his profession and experience of cynology including training and breeding. Petr helps his dad prepare dogs for the military and is perfecting his techniques as a sleeve handler for bite work. Petr has a great attention to detail, he is precise, and is very patience; which comes in handy when working with young driven dogs! He hopes to build and grow the family dog business, one dog at a time. When Petr is not training, he is working on improving his English and he enjoys practicing combat sports and playing chess.

Blaze Parker

Master Dog Trainer

Blaze inherited a passion for training and working with animals from her father, a military K-9 Handler. Her journey as a dog trainer started at the age of 13, when she rescued a bully breed from a shelter and transformed him into an invaluable assistance dog, accompanying her through high school and her graduation. At 17, she welcomed a cattle dog into her life who has earned several titles in freestyle flying disc and competitive obedience sports. Her career solidified at 18 when she started training dogs professionally, specializing in medical alert service dogs and later on transitioning to different areas in her field like narcotics dogs, green dogs for police departments, protection dogs and highly specialized service dogs for disabled veterans. She has a fondness for Belgian Malinois and training protection dogs, having bred and raised several litters. Blaze found fulfillment settling back into training working dogs and family dogs, and her dedication to her craft includes a degree in veterinary medicine and a vast knowledge of nutrition. When she is not working, she is preparing herself and her personal dogs for their next big event; they’ve now competed in Purina’s Incredible Dog Challenge, Working Dogs of America (WDA), Dock Diving, and UP Dog events. Currently Blaze is training dogs to compete in Protection Sports Association (PSA) with a goal to certify as a decoy.

Michelle Solc

Expert Dog Trainer

Born and raised in Czech Republic, Michelle has learned the best of dog training from her father. Since she could walk, she grew up around dogs. Twice she has won the Youth National Championship in Czech Republic. Currently she trains dogs on a daily basis, which she has a great sense for every dog she works with, and in return dogs respond very well to her. If she’s not training dogs, Michelle also enjoys sports including racing volleyball and climbing.

Molly Oakes

Trainer

Molly grew up in South Carolina, finding a profound love for working dogs at just 14 years old. At that time, she was training with agility dogs and dabbling in rally obedience. As time went on, she began working with IGP dogs and that led her to becoming a dog sport enthusiast. She welcomed Dutch Shepherds into her life and never looked back, today participating in WDA and training her dogs for PSA. Her love of sport makes her incredibly detail oriented and methodical when working with any dog for any purpose, but she enjoys training obedience the most. Molly is experienced in both the behavioral side of dogs and the medical side, having worked for 7 years as a licensed veterinary technician. In her free time, she can most often be found on a trail or taking photos.
