Chevy Bond

Bond is a large male black and rust European Doberman Pinscher.

His mother hails from Romania and his father from Hungaria. His head and size coupled with the contrast in his coat are what makes him so eye-catching. He has a large, broad snout and with endearing chocolate eyes. Due to his temperament and drive, Bond would be best suited as a companion or working dog with an environment which gives him purpose.

Bond has extensive obedience and protection training, and he was originally selected for breeding. Unfortunately, Bond’s health testing informed us he has hip dysplasia. Even though he is not a breedable male, he is a highly trained dog with a long, healthy, and fulfilling life ahead of him. Bond is 3 years old, and shows no signs of significant discomfort. We do recommend keeping him on a hip and joint supplement.

Chevy Bond is ready to work, but requires an experienced handler. Bond has good food drive, but he works like a dream for his ball. He has AKC rally training and has been diligently training his entire life. With his natural sense of duty, he wants to follow and be with his handler. He will thrive best in the presence and leadership of his handler. Though he is a strong dog, he does have a good off switch and lives well in the home.
