Kevin Tespo Bohemia

Kevin is a remarkable sable Czech German Shepherd Dog. His large bone structure and broad head convey his distinctive purpose as a working line German Shepherd. He is full of energy, personality, and has immense character. He is safe with other dogs and children of all ages, but would do best with a highly active family, in a sport home, or with an experienced working dog owner.

Kevin thrives in the work, he is a very lovely dog who could see the highest level of titling. He is an excellent tracker and really enjoys using his nose. He is highly trained, obtaining a BH-VT title and being prepared for his IGP1. A BH-VT is a temperament test for dogs that evaluates their obedience and confidence in various situations, including traffic (bicyclist, joggers, automobiles), people, dogs, loud noises, and to being alone. It includes heeling on and off leash, basic obedience commands, out of motion sit command, recall, down with a recall, and down under heavy distraction. If a dog fails this exam due to fear, aggressive, or distracted behavior he can not move on to the next title.

He has strong protection. His gripping behavior is ideal; full, calm, and hard with clean, fast entries. He has strong nerve and works well even under pressure, switching nicely from prey to defense and vice versa. He has a lovely obedience, executing his position changes beautifully. He was imported from the Czech Republic and comes from a long line of IGP and ZVV dogs with upper level titling. He is an excellent sport/working dog, but he is also extremely outgoing and affectionate with people. He is a lover boy with soft round eyes and nicely set ears that compliment his large head.

He has advanced obedience training, is an excellent tracker, and has strong protection. He is an excellent dog for anyone seeking to adventure in IGP, but would fit in well with an active and experienced home.
