His obsidian coat and large bone structure serve as a symbol to potential criminals that he can back up his powerful bark. Though he is naturally intimidating, Nelson’s trainers note that his big round brown eyes and fluffy fur make him resemble a plushie toy. Nelson is full of personality and has great character, safe with other dogs and children.

Nelson loves to work. He has strong ball drive, good food drive, and works nicely in both prey and defense. Nelson’s strong motivation started with his parents in the Czech Republic; he comes from a long line of successful IGP dogs. He is strong in his mind and body, but social and devoted to his people. He is safe to have at the family barbeque, and prepared/trained to defend you from harm. With further training, Nelson would be an excellent sport dog in either venue; IGP or PSA. Nelson has a solid foundation in obedience and protection. Good entries, hard grips, controlled out, solid nerve, and highly biddable with no handler aggression. He is handsome, affectionate, and in his prime.
